WASHINGTON – As part of its ongoing efforts to match service with customer needs, the Postal Service is moving three performance clusters from the Western Area to two other areas.
The Arizona and Nevada Performance Clusters will become part of the Pacific Area effective Saturday, July 13, and the New Mexico Performance Cluster will join the Southwest Area on the same day.
'Each of these PCs has a distinguished tradition of performance and service,' said Chief Operating Officer Pat Donahoe. 'I look forward to seeing these traditions grow even stronger through this realignment.'
Donahoe said, 'All three areas involved also have made critical contributions to the Postal Service in an environment increasingly defined by change. I am confident that this commitment to success will continue in the days and years ahead.'
